This week we have been talking about being thankful and using our manners to say please and thank you. We read a book called Bear Says Thanks by Karma Wilson. It is a great reminder about how we all have something to give to the people in our lives. I wanted to say thank you to all of our parents for all you do for your child.
Have a great week and we will see all of you on Monday.

On Friday November 14th, we really enjoy our monthly music time. The kids loved using the bowls and measuring cups as drums as they sang. We also got to move with our scarves to the beat of the music. I wish everyone could see the joy that the kids have as they learn and discover new things with music.
Our little kids are growing up. We started our family style meals this week. The kids help set the table with napkin, spoon, and plates. Then they serve themselves and pass the food around the table. We also upgraded to a taller table and chairs, as we have outgrown the old ones. They grow up so fast, remember to love them where they are now before you know it they will be all grown up.
Today we learned a lot while we played. We used a ramp to see what vehicle would go down the first. Then they tried to use different kinds of toys, including blocks to roll down. We talked about the difference of how far they would go. We had a great time! The Early Head Start class had a great day on Friday with our "Pumpkin Patch" and playing in the leaves. The kids really enjoyed jumping in the pool of leaves as it was to cold to stay outside for very long. We also had orange play-dough and a pumpkin toss game with orange lids. I hope everyone had a happy and safe weekend. |
