All families are invited to come to our end of the year celebration Tuesday, May 8th at 6:15. Early Head Start kids will be receiving a certificate for the year and we will have a short slide show of our room.

This week we are talking about wind. One of the best ways to experience wind is by flying a kite. It is a great way to spend time as a family and take a picnic along if you would like. Here is an article of some of the best places to go fly a kite.
We are talking about zoo animals for the next couple of weeks. The kids love to hear the noises they make and naming them. We are going to be exploring all the animals in the weeks to come and see what they do in the wild.

We were so happy to be able to get outside after all of the cold days! We had a great time building our snowman. Get outside and enjoy the warm up this weekend before it turns cold again.

Beginning in January we will be working with parents at pickup and drop off doing I Love You Rituals with their child. This is part of Conscious Disciple what we use in our classroom and throughout our school.

We had a lot of fun and learning going on today as we created our Snowy Day Bags. The kids got to tear apart cotton balls and put them in the bag. Then we added water, baby oil, and glitter. They really enjoyed watching the glitter move as they pushed on the bags.
