We love Books!
Early Literacy is so important in the first three years. To learn more follow the link below for a quick video from the Zero to Three Website.
We made cloud dough for our Sensory Play last week. The kids love it and always have a great time making things, pouring, and measuring the dough.
The Recipe is simple:
4 cups of Flour
1 cup of oil
and mix them together. If you keep it in the refrigerator it will last a couple of weeks.
This is great to do outside and makes for easy cleanup.
We have been talking about different kinds of transportation this month. This week is about Airplanes and other Air vehicles. We have made airplanes to ride in from a box. Wings to pretend we are planes to fly. Next week we will be talking about trains.
Baby Shark even has a car version of the song that we have been using. Click below to share the link.
Need something to entertain your toddler this Winter? We do a lot of indoor gross motor activities to help get all the wiggles out. Check out the link below for some good ideas! I really like the walking on pillows video. What fun and so much large muscle work that is going on!
We have been talking about snow, snowflakes, winter animals, and cold. Click below to hear one of our favorite Winter Songs. We have small paper snowflakes that each child can hold and place as the song talks about different body parts. Have a great weekend and see everyone on Monday.
We had a great time decorating cookies that had been donated by one of our parents! Thanks for thinking about us. Please see the pictures below to see what fun things we got to do.
As it is snowing outside please remember to bring coats, hats and gloves for your child. We do go outside if at all possible and we really enjoy exploring in the snow.
Also: If the district cancels school due to weather our classroom will also be closed for the day. Please visit the district website for more information about the cancelation policy.
